Eagle Lake Recreation Center Board Directors Elections


The Eagle Lake Recreation Center (ELRC) Board of Directors will be holding elections for the expiring terms of three directors. The voting period will commence on October 1st, 2017 and end on October 15th, at 1:00 p.m. Voting shall be cast by secret ballot during this period at the Pro Shop. Results will be tallied and announced prior to the Annual Business Meeting after the Club Championship on October 15th.

The ELRC is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization established to manage and operate the Eagle Lake Golf Course on behalf of the City of Eagle Lake. The Board of Directors is the governing body for the ELRC and consists of seven duly elected directors. The directors serve two year terms, without term limits. Directorship is a volunteer service and no compensation is provided for the position of director.

Individuals interested in becoming a candidate for a directorship must submit their candidacy at the Pro Shop no later than September 30th, 2017. Candidates and voters are required to be full ELRC members in good standing with all annual membership dues paid in full. Family and other memberships are allowed only one vote per membership.

The Eagle Lake Recreation encourages all interested individuals to inquire about the responsibilities and duties of serving on the ELRC Board. If interested in serving as a director, the ELRC is pleased to welcome your candidacy and participation.
